Ford made 5029 Thunderbird convertibles in 1966.

It's not known how many survive, however here is a fine example in New Hampshire U.S.A.

Cape Thunderbird's '66 convertible is similar except for the white upholstery in ours.

When U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson learned that this would be the last convertible he sent an aid on a quest all over Texas to find a suitable Thunderbird for his daughter.

A car was found for his grateful daughter. It is now in the hands of a happy collector in the U.S.

Our Thunderbird is in the hands of a happy collector in Dunsborough Western Australia.

It provides many happy hours and many a happy wedding.

Ford's advertisement for the Limited Edition Monaco Landau. The colour scheme was selected by Princess Grace of Monaco.

Number one was presented to Princess Grace and Prince Rainer at a glittering ceremony at the Royal Palace on 3rd January 1963.

Only 2000 editions were made and 1999 were sold to the public. Cape Thunderbird's Monaco is number 1807.

It is a beautiful brides car and the white leather interior perfectly sets off any bridal dress.
